Dr. Mike Williams grew up in South Jordan, UT where he attended Bingham High School. As a youth, he enjoyed all kinds of sports especially baseball and football. His experiences with sports led to his interest in physical therapy and healthcare, ultimately leading him to pursue a career in physical therapy.
Dr. Williams received a Bachelor’s of Exercise Science from BYU before heading to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. While attending UNLV, Dr. Williams worked as a graduate assistant. This allowed him to become involved in many areas of research and teach anatomy courses to undergraduate students. His own dissertation involved examining the effects of stretching on muscle performance and was eventually published in the Journal of Sports Medicine.
As a physical therapist, Dr. Williams is passionate about helping people to achieve their own personal goals and achieve their best quality of life. He has worked in a variety of settings and is skilled in working with a variety of conditions including complex orthopedic, neurologic, and cardiopulmonary conditions.
